Boxing Day Shotgun Event (and try-out!)

There has been some expressions of interest in doing something on Boxing Day at the Shotgun Range. 
 
So, lets go!
 
We are going to open the Range at 10:00am to 2:00 pm on Boxing Day for an informal fun Shoot.
 
The Compac Sporting Clay Range (5-Stand) will be throwing a 50 Target (2 X 25 target rounds) Compac Sporting Clay Shoot.
 
If you are curious about the Shotgun Sports and are looking for something to do on Boxing Day, come on out!
 
We will open the Skeet Range, Trap Range and Wobble Trap Ranges as well, for use and introduction.
 
 All targets are$7.00 per round
 
Get off the couch and enjoy an afternoon of fun shooting.

The 2026 Membership Campaign has arrived!

It’s time to renew your Club Membership. This can be as simple as dropping by Napa in Newcastle (bring your old key!), and filling out the Application form, and arranging payment (cheque, cash, or follow the EMT instructions on your Application form). The new card and key will be mailed to you.

Or, you can print out the new Application form from the website here:

https://www.miramichishootingsports.com/index.php/club-info/membership-form, then mail the form and key, and the new card and key will arrive in the mail.

Or, you can drop by the Range Dec 30 or 31, between 9am and 1pm - we’ll have a fire in the stove, and you can swap your key right there. A great opportunity to see some of the other members.

If you just signed up for 2026 recently, you will still need the 2026 key, so you’ll have to mail-in your 2025 key, or drop it off at Napa, or swap it at the Range Dec 30 or 31.

Remember: December 31, the lock on the gate changes, so everyone will require a 2026 key - even those who just signed up recently.

NRL-style Rimfire Shoot

The Rifle Section would like to announce that the Rifle range will be closed Saturday October 18th until 1 PM in order to hold our inaugural NRL style .22 rimfire shoot. This is an unsanctioned shoot and as a result a portion of the $30.00 entry will go back to the shooters in the form of cash and merchandise prizes by random and lewis draw. The shoot will include a BBQ lunch. Additional details can be had via email at
